Photography thrives on curiosity—on asking, What happens if I crop this? What if I try that? It’s in the playful exploration of techniques and tools that true creativity comes to life.
During lockdown, my daughter and I embraced this spirit of experimentation. We turned an old Pringles tin into a flash tube for macro photography, explored the wonders of reverse lens techniques, and even captured mesmerising images of soap bubbles using a huge static light. Each experiment brought its own challenges and rewards, reminding us that photography isn’t just about the end result—it’s about the journey.
I hope you enjoy exploring some of these creations and feel inspired to try your own experiments. Photography should always be a space for unbridled creativity and, most importantly, fun!
